Steven Keith Green
Steven Keith Green, 37, was convicted of having sexual encounters in 2007 with a then 16-year old female family member, according to a Crowley police report.
Crowley police were dispatched to a home on Dec. 1, 2007, and the victim told police that numerous sexual contacts had occurred between Greene and her since she was 13.
The victim, who had lived with Green since she was 11 or 12, told police that the encounters occurred every weekend for three years when Greene was home from his job and that she wanted them to stop, the report said.
The report said Green’s job required him to be away a week at a time.
The report said the victim told Green to stop on numerous occasions, but he would continue, while other occasions were consensual.
The victim told police at one point that the suspect told her if she ever told anyone, they would not be able to see each other.
During the initial police interview, Green denied the accusations.
Green was arrested on Dec. 21, 2007, and a $100,000 bond was set.
A test performed by the Tarrant County Medical Examiners Office on a bed sheet and two bath towels used during the last sexual encounter were matched to Greene’s DNA, which had been collected by Crowley police on a warrant.
Green is still in custody at the Tarrant County Jail.
