Burleson High School has found its new athletic director and head football coach in Jason Tucker.

The position is Tucker’s first head coaching job.

He has been the defensive backs coach and the defensive coordinator for Burleson the last three years.

Before joining Burleson High School, Tucker was an assistant coach for Southlake Carroll.

He was the assistant offensive line coach and defensive backs coach there when the Dragons won three state titles in four years.

The Elks were 7-4 in 2009.

Burleson Centennial High School has found its first athletic director and head football coach in Kyle Geller.

 Geller was the head football coach at Carrollton-Farmer’s Branch in 2009, and served as head football coach for Mansfield Summit from 2005 until 2009.

 From 2002 to 2005, Geller was an offensive coordinator for Summit. His career coaching record is 33-21.

Geller was named the 2007 District 4-5A coach of the year.
