    Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office officials on Monday afternoon released the name of the other three people killed late Saturday night in a four-car crash on Burleson-Retta Road.

    The congregation at Burleson’s Alsbury Baptist Church is in mourning this week after the church’s youth pastor was killed in an accident late Saturday night when he stopped to help a stranded motorist.

    Four people were killed and nine others injured, two critically, in an accident east of Spinks Airport late Saturday night.

From left are, Godley’s Linsey Tomlinson (co-newcomer of the year), Grandview’s Lexi Meadows (co-newcomer of the year), Centennial’s Sydney Cox (pitcher of the year), Centennial’s Madison Montgomery (offensive player of the year), Grandview’s Kalani Basham (co-MVP) and Centennial’s Shannon Sullivan (co-coach of the year). Burleson’s Sam Montes (co-MVP) and Logan Friend (defensive player of the year) and Grandview Coach Tim Jackson (co-coach of the year) not pictured.

    The Pinnacle Bank 2013 All-Johnson County softball team was announced this week and four schools were represented in the superlative selections, led by co-most valuable players Kalani Basham of Grandview and Sam Montes of Burleson.

    Johnson County will be represented by two players at the Texas Girls Coaches Association 2013 All-Star softball game. Burleson’s Mallory Foster and Grandview’s Kalani Basham were selected by the TGCA Softball Committee to participate in the annual event.

    Burleson 7-year-old Denver Wakin had more than 36,000 pairs of eyes on him as he ran his little heart out at the Ballpark in Arlington on Saturday. Wakin was participating in the Texas Rangers Dr. Pepper Steal Third Base promotion.
